Our students performed in August 2012 in the cult musical 'Return to the Forbidden Planet' and they performed again in December 2012 in the Christmas Panto 'Mother Goose' at the Mitchell Theatre, Glasgow. They also performed at Stirling Casle with Rod Stewart, Kylie Miniogue & Michael Buble in The Rod Stewart Christmas TV Special which was aired over the 2012 Festive period.

Jnr Prep 1:
Primary 1 to Primary 4 children do not have to go through a formal audition.
Children of this age grouping are invited to our open days to take part in an Acting, Singing and Dancing Workshop where they will be assessed.
Jnr Prep 2:
Primary 5 to Primary 7 children do not have to go through a formal audition however; some children attending a UKTheatreSchool Open Audition Day may be asked to a 'call-back' following an open assessment.
The open assessment format is for children to take part in acting, singing and dance workshops where our staff assess each child while they are enjoying the process of participating in these fabulous workshops.
Some more advanced children of this age group may be asked to a 'call-back audition' where they can either show us something they have prepared themself or they can be given some alternatives to show to our panel. This part of the audition is optional; children invited to call-backs do not have to attend the call-back however; this enables us to assess a child for a more Advanced Stream Course suitable to each applicant's particular ability.

To reserve a place costs £6.50 per applicant on the day or £5.00 payable if booking in advance. Assessment workshops will last from 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
All children who successfully come through their audition and enrol within the UKTheatreSchool can perform throughout Summer 2013 as well as perform in the Christmas Productions in 2013 and other events.
