- Term Time: Term time within UKTheatreSchool is set by the theatre school and does not usually run in conjunction with primary or secondary school terms. Terms usually last ten weeks and once a student enrols with UKTheatreSchool each term will run onto the next term unless written notice of termination is received (please see ‘Leaving Notice’ section).
Enrolment Fees breakdown:
- There is a one off enrolment fee of £95.00 on successful entry into UKTheatreSchool. This payment is without exception.
- There is also a Course Deposit of £30.00. Course deposit is refundable on leaving UKTheatreSchool only if written notice (signed by parent/guardian) is given on or before week eight of the term, detailing that the student wishes to leave at the end of term. Payments for this term and all previous terms must be paid up to and including week ten (on or before week ten) or the parent/guardian will forfeit their course deposit. Course deposits are only paid if there have been no penalties applied to the account and no arrears correspondence has been entered into.
- There is a weekly fee for classes. Weekly fees can change at the discretion of UKTS – notice of any changes will be given in advance. All missed classes must be paid for.
Re-registration Fee each May
- In May each year there is a re-registration fee applicable to all students who enrolled prior to March of that year. This fee is £35 and payable by the end of May. This fee is annual.
Late Fees:
- Late weekly fee payments will incur a penalty of £2 per late fee week after any outstanding fee is more than two weeks late. This penalty will accrue at £2 per week until the payments are up-to-date unless prior arrangement has been made by the management and written confirmation of such an arrangement is available.
Leaving Notice:
- Any parent/guardian who fails to inform UKTheatreSchool in writing by week eight of a term that the student wishes to leave at the end of term will be billed for the entire next term. Each term should last ten weeks and each term and its fees will run on to the next term unless the appropriate notice is received. Refunds will be forfeited if at any time arrears penalties have been applied to a student’s account or if written correspondence regarding outstanding fees is entered into between UKTheatreSchool and the parent/guardian. All refunds are paid by BACs straight into the parent/guardians account and paid at the end of the forthcoming term.
Behaviour:
- Students told to leave UKTheatreSchool due to unacceptable behaviour will forfeit all rights to any refunds and their parent/guardian will be liable for the whole of the term they have been expelled within. We reserve the right to refuse admission and terminate the enrolment of any student entirely at our discretion, where we believe it is in the best interests of UKTheatreSchool to do so.
