In January 2005 UKTheatreSchool merged with the number one casting agency in the country; United Castings and it has proved to be an excellent and very successful partnership.
United Casting can be found at www.unitedcasting.co.uk. United is a top extras agency who also cast for main parts in all the major Scottish Films and Television programmes as well as looking for work south of the border. One of the conditions of our merger was that United Castings will ONLY represent students from UKTheatreSchool ensuring exclusivity for our students. With this dedicated representation from United Casting and the fabulous PR company 'Hive' promoting our school and our students we can guarantee that this country gets to know exactly what is happening within this performing arts academy and the talent it is honing. To become a member of castings the following details apply:
- Students should attend a United Castings Members evening.
- They will have their photograph taken on this evening and should wear UKTheatreSchool uniform. This photograph is taken for their Production Folders which are sent to BBC, STV and other Production Companies.
- Students complete their Castings Membership Forms and have their height, sizes, hair colour etc detailed.
- With Castings there is a £45 annual membership (which covers annual registration and annual photographs).
- Students can apply for membership in either January or June. January memberships run January to January and June memberships run June to June.
