UKTheatreSchool Performing Arts Academy - Glasgow
Glasgow is the main headquarters for UKTheatreSchool Performing Arts Academy. Within the Glasgow Performing Arts Academy there are a range of part-time Youth Programs & Adult Programs.

The Main Stream Performing Arts Courses:
Junior School - attending 3 Hours per week over 2010 / 2011
o Jnr Prep 1 (Primary 1 to Primary 4 students)
o Jnr Prep 2 (Primary 5 to Primary 7 students)
Senior School - attending 3 Hours per week over 2010 / 2011
o Snr 1 (Secondary 1st year to Secondary 3rd year students)
o Snr 2 (Secondary 1st year to Secondary 3rd year students)
The Main Stream Performing Arts Course students attend once weekly covering classes in Acting, Singing & Dance.
3 Hours per week (attendance - one day - Saturday, Sunday or Monday).

The Advanced Stream Performing Arts Students:
From age P5 – S6
(Part-time Vocational Training - Entry by Assessment in Mainstream classes or by separate Audition)
Advanced 1 Courses:
o Attending 6 hours per week plus show hours
o Covering the Stage 1 Level Advanced Course of:
§ Acting for Theatre, Improvisation work, Ensemble/Group Singing, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acting for Film & Television, Performance Class plus inclusion in full-scale summer production
§ Advanced 1 students have inclusion into the full-scale summer production.
Advanced 2 Courses:
o Attending 9 hours per week plus show hours
o Covering the Stage 2 Level Advanced Course of:
§ Acting for Theatre, Ensemble/Group Singing, Individual Vocal Coachings, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acting for Film & Television, Casting class (looking at how to approach a TV or Film casting audition), Performance classes plus inclusion in full-scale summer production.
§ Advanced 2 students have inclusion into the full-scale summer production and some events throughout the year.
Advanced 3 Courses:
o Attending 12 hours per week plus show hours
o Covering the Stage 3 Level Advanced Course of:
§ Acting (Improvisation/Script Work/Text Analysis/Audition Preparation), Ensemble/Group Singing, Individual Vocal Coachings, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Theatre Performance class and Acting for Film & Television (with director/coach & camera crew).
§ Advanced 3 students have inclusion into the full-scale summer production as well as other events and festivals throughout the year.

Musical Theatre Masterclass Course:
From age Primary 5 (P5) to Secondary 6 (S6) - Part-time Vocational Training - Entry Strictly by Audition
Junior Musical Theatre Masterclass Students:
o Jnr Prep 2 age group (P5 – P7)
o Attending approx 8 hours per week plus show rehearsals and performance hours:-
o Covering the Stage 1 MT Masterclass Course of:
§ Acting for Theatre, Acting through Song, Ensemble & Solo Singing, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre Performance class and vocal coachings.
o Guest teachers from RSAMD Musical Theatre Dept and West End Show guests
o Jnr MTMC students have inclusion into the full-scale summer production
Intermediate Musical Theatre Masterclass Course:
o Age 13-15yrs (Snr 1 MTMC)
o Attending 8 hours per week plus show rehearsals and performance hours:-
o Covering the Stage 2 MT Masterclass Course of:
§ Acting for Theatre, Acting through Song, Ensemble & Solo Singing, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre Performance class and vocal coachings.
o Guest teachers from RSAMD Musical Theatre Dept and West End Show guests
o Intermediate MTMC students have inclusion into the full-scale summer production
Senior Musical Theatre Masterclass Course:-
o Age 15 - 19 years (Snr 2 MTMC)
o Attending approx 12 hours per week plus show/event rehearsals and performance hours:
o Covering the Stage 3 MT Masterclass Course of:
§ Acting (Improvisation/Script Work/Text Analysis/Audition Preparation), Ensemble & Solo Singing, Individual Vocal Coachings, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acting for Film & Television (with director/coach & camera crew), LAMDA & LCM exam class, Theatre Performance class.
o Guest teachers from RSAMD Musical Theatre Dept, Mountview MT Dept, Arts Ed, Royal Academy of Music and West End Show cast members.
o Snr MTMC students have inclusion into the full-scale summer production plus many other high profile events and festivals throughout the year.
